Facing the future: Together

  • End of April update (2022)

    Hi,

I said that I would keep everyone informed of how it went with the Oncologist...

This appointment was a face to face conversation for Dal and his Oncologist, as previously mentioned Dal is doing amazingly well and he has been told that whilst he is able to continue to manage the Chemo/Targetted therapy as well as he is, he will continue with this treatment.

  • Early April update

    Just a quick update

March Echo scan seemed to go ok, (waiting on oncologist to phone and let us know more)  and still waiting on CT scan appointment which seem to be taking longer now, we imagine this is caused by the backlog of Covid and lockdown.

Although delayed he has had a his CT scan and his Echocardiogram, bloods and Oncologist update...

It is amazing to report, that Dal continues to do well, the bloods continue to remain very good, the lymph nodes around his stomach are returning to normal, his chest…

Happy New Year to you all... or at least, I hope it is a good year for many of you.

Last year was the year I had imagined We would never have! after Dal's Diagnosis in May 2020 and the prognosis given, we embraced 2020 with a view that there may not be a 2021 for us, but there was.

2021 brought us many ups and downs, both with Dal's cancer treatment and within our own lives, but it was a year where we threw abandon…
