Facing the future: Together

  • As 2022 closes - an update

I truly do not know where the time goes, it has been ages since my last update, yet it doesn't seem it was too long ago at all.

Dal managed to shake off the cough eventually and has continued to grow his hair and beard, things have been going well.  About a month ago he went for his normal chemo treatment and was told by the duty staff that they were not giving the "Chemo" this time, just the Herceptin, we had not…

  • General Update - treatment continues

Asked maybe if we wanted to go on holiday, have a break from the treatment if Dal felt that he could do that…

  • The journey through the month of June.

What a fantastic month June has been!

Dal weighed in at 13st 10 & 1/8th up 2lb since last time  such a good sign. He continues to take Lansoprazole 30mg but only once a day as apposed to the two a day he had been taking in May.  A week after his first chemo, Dal stopped taking any other pain killers, he had been on the maximum amount of pain killers prior to chemo, he was woken in the night with pain, but now, there…
