Well he done it !! He has managed to get home after 7 weeks of all sorts of infection. They will see him in the clinic next Thursday and decide then when to do the Bone Marrow Aspiration then it will be discussed when Transplant will go ahead, it appears not to be the 9th of Dec now who knows when I suspect this side of the year though as he will need to have more chemo if not.

Pleased to say that Bert's Neutrophls are coming up thanks to the G-CFS injections. However, his platelets are falling again now at 15. I am not sure what this means, though I know they won't do his Bone Marrow Aspiration while his platelets are low, but they keep changing their minds so who knows. We have a provisional date for Transplant which is the 9th Dec so he will be in for Xmas and New Year again. But…
I feel as though Bert has been away for months . I have had to take some time off work as I am still not sleeping and was crying for no reason, well I do have reason but you know what I mean.Got some new sleeping tabs from the Doc but have been out gardening since 6.30 and up during the night at least 4 times so will need to try 2 tonight.. I am going to clean out Bert's wardrobe and get rid of all his old working stuff…
We are going into day 41 since Bert started his Chemo (it lasted 5 days) and his counts are beginning to creep up, albeit very slowly. he had another couple of units of blood last night so I am hoping to see an improvement today when I visit.
