I feel as though Bert has been away for months . I have had to take some time off work as I am still not sleeping and was crying for no reason, well I do have reason but you know what I mean.Got some new sleeping tabs from the Doc but have been out gardening since 6.30 and up during the night at least 4 times so will need to try 2 tonight.. I am going to clean out Bert's wardrobe and get rid of all his old working stuff as he has been given early retirement and wont be going back.

They gave him a GCFS injection to see if that will kick start his blood count into moving his toe needs lanced and because his platelets are 28 they cant do it. Mind you if he would leave it alone it just might get better.

Teri,

I think sometimes people forget how much the carer goes through.....the same worry, anxiety and feeling of uselessness.

I hope you get a really good nights sleep soon, you need it!!!!!! Here's hoping that the injections do the necessary for Berts platelets.

Hi Teri,

It sounds like Bert isnt improving,which as Debs says is putting a lot of pressure,worry and tiredness on youself and not being able to get a good nights sleep wont help.I just dont know what to say except I hope you get some sort of rest.
