Claire really enjoyed the fund raising night with Ghosts and mediums and suchlike. Joni on the other hand said it was a lot of nonsense. But still I hope they have raised a good sum for Anthony Nolan Trust, I think they were pleased that Bert got a mention (not by name of course) but it was announced that he would be benefiting from the funds raised as he is due to get his transplant in the near future. Bert still has an infected toe that is 6 weeks they have been treating it but with platelets of around 15 and neutrophils and a white cell count of zero I suppose it is not surprising that it keeps flaring up again. He was feeling very sick tonight and has slept for hours so I came home early to have an early night and hope he will feel better in the morning.
I hope I manage to sleep beyond 3.30 otherwise I will need to sleep in the hospital again. Just as well the staff know me so well as I just lie down beside him for a kip
