  • Day 8of Bertie Bassets return Journey

    Well here  we are on day 8, his chemo finished yesterday after 5 days. Still no better he still has diarrhoea and his temp still spiking on a regular basis.

    The Consultant now thinks  yhat perhaps it may have been the chemothat is causing the high temp so will wait for 24 hours to see if it stays down if not another antibiotic will be added

    Still no result on his liver scan

    Hi All Bert is on day 5 of his chemo and has all the usual side effects, nausea, diarrhoea, hasn't eaten since day 1. Now he has a fight to get his blood count back to something more like normal which I expect will take some time as he was Neutropenic before he even started the Chemo

    Hi Most of you who know me know that Bert has been re-admitted to hospital. For anyone who does not know me I will try and keep this brief.
