thank you so much for your replies so far re: the waiting game.
we are still in limbo - no news yet. However, I forgot to mention in my last message that Pauline was prescribed Provera and given a month’s supply which she started straight away.
May I ask if any of you were given the same prescription while waiting for a diagnosis? Is this common practice?

I'm sure I've read of some of the ladies here being prescribed Provera, until they come back why not enter Provera in the search bar at the top of the age and you should find some answers.
You could also call the Macmillan Support line, number shown below, and ask the nurses there.
