I was diagnosed with stage 1 grade 1a endometrial cancer this year and following surgery was given the all clear a few weeks later. I am now on patient initiated follow up for two years. I need to take out travel insurance and wondered if you ladies in a similar position have found getting travel insurance has been an issue and if the premiums have sky rocketed or being quite reasonable. I am going to have a ring round but wondered it has affected other ladies. Hope everyone is coping ok in this heat.
Hi, im with Insurancewith, which was set up by a lady who had gone through cancer herself. Mine was stage 3 and I had radiotherapy and chemo, and their pricing took into account how long it had been since completing treatment. So you might might better rate if you completed treatment over 12 weeks ago compared to 11 weeks ago, you get my drift.
