Hi everyone, on Saturday I had few blood tests because of my anaemia from heavy bleeding every month. Today I got a call because my haemoglobin it is way too low, I was worried that they will cancel the surgery for this Thursday but they want me to do a iron transfusion, I just had it , all good apart from painful hand.
Really hope nothing can stop the surgery as I'm waiting for this from summer and im very ready . The nurse was cheering me saying I'm the Iron Girl.
Hi CoriP
I needed a blood transfusion during my treatment as during chemo my haemoglobin became very low. Within 24 hours I felt a lot better and my bloods started coming up within a couple of days.
Fingers crossed the same thing happens for you.
Jane
