Hi - I can't advise personally, but while you are waiting for others who can, this thread may be helpful.

Hi Sneaks2024, welcome to the group! Do you know if the plan is for laparoscopic/robotic or open surgery?
Hi I made sure that the house was as clean as possible and did some meals for the freezer so I didn’t have to worry about it for the 1st few days. Also used a little stool for the kitchen so I didn’t have to bend down to get things out of the cupboards/ fridge. If you live alone as I do, good to have some help for the 1st few days. I had friends staying for most of 1st 2 weeks, but main issues I needed help with was changing beds/ putting out rubbish! Was also great to have someone to take me out in car for walks other than around the block!
