Hi. 14 weeks ago I had cancer of the womb. I had a keyhole laparoscopic BSO hysterectomy. All went well but I have terrible pain in my heels at night, especially right foot. When I get up the pain stops. Could this be connected to op or just coincidence? I am 76.
Hi Granstaxi
I am sorry to hear that you are having pain in your heels at night. It sounds really uncomfortable.
This is not something that I have come across on here before other than when ladies have developed some neuropathy after going through chemo.
I would suggest the best thing is to initially contact your GP and ask to be checked over.
You could also call the Macmillan Support Line and speak with one of the nurses who may be able to give some advice on what may be causing the pains.
Hope that you are recovering well otherwise from your surgery.
Jane
