I don’t come on this forum very often now but would like to offer hope and encouragement to all you ladies who are at the moment in the position I was in 2022 ( My bio tells my story ) . When I found this forum the members here became my supporters, my encouragement, my go to for answers, my sounding board and my friends. I couldn’t have done it without them and happy to say 2 years on I’m  healthy happy and absolutely loving life. It wasn’t without ups and downs, we sadly lost some friends on the way but if I can offer any advice it’s take every day as it comes, live every day as much as you can, and don’t stress about what “might” happen in the future, trust in your specialist team but also trust in your own instinct to question when you are unsure.  Fear of the unknown is the worst but once you come to terms with the fact worrying about the unknown isn’t making it easier then you can start and take things day by day and one step at a time. Huge hugs to everyone

  • Hey Chrissie! It’s so good to see you! Really glad to know you’re doing so well! It was my 2 yr surgery anniversary in January, and this week is my 2yr start of radiotherapy anniversary! As far as I know (or any of us knows!) I’m still cancer free; I do have a different health issue to deal with, but that’s manageable. Here’s hoping that you remain healthy and happy and getting on with life!

  • Oh what a fantastic and inspiring post. How thoughtful you are.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Hi Chrissie- I remember you from when I first came on here (April2022). Am so glad that things are going well for you.

Lovely to get some positive updates from people to show there can be light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Hi  Chrissie

Good to read that you are still doing well and are enjoying life. I was diagnosed and treated in 2022 as well and remember you from that time. I am stage 4 but am still stable from end of treatment in the Sept 22, can you believe?

Glad to hear you are well, long may it continue.

  • Lovely to hear from you and to see a positive post.  Like you I am loving life again and still feel so grateful that I found this group when I first discovered I had cancer 2 years ago.  The support I got from here meant so much as we went on our scary journey together.  So lovely to see some familiar names on here and so happy you are all doing so well too x

  • Hello there friends from the 2022 recruitment, this time 2 years ago I had just had 2nd dose of my Paclitaxel and Carboplatin combination of Chemo after being diagnosed with the high Grade Serous Cancer!

I too am so glad to report that I am well, as healthy as I can possibly be, and living a normal life again and take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you lovely ladies who have been instrumental in helping me so much with recovery and my well being.

I take this opportunity to give others too whatever part of the journey you are on, take it one step at a time, don't use google, ask us anything we will support and guide you along the way, I think it's safe to say we're qualified with the experience and a lot of knowledge now.

Big hugs to you all, take care xxx
