In hospital this morning and waiting to go to theatre. Don’t know what frightens mean most - the operation or the results. Trying to take things a step at a time but so difficult. Praying that my stage and grade do not deteriorate.
Take care everyone!
HI Shirley100 I remember whilst in the pre-op reception area sending messages and when they came to get me said hang on a sec - never did send it!
The op will be over before you know it and you'll be back on the ward. Just take it easy and if you have any pain you can't cope with let the nurses know. My ward sister said don't let the pain take you over - I'm honest I didn't have any, only discomfort if anything. I did have an epidural for pain relief.
Just concentrate on recovering, one step at a time and don't keep worrying about histology results.
Sending cotton wool hugs your way, Barb xx

Hi Shirley,
sending lots of hugs & love. It really will be over with before you know, I likewise didn’t have pain, literally discomfort, paracetamol was the only pain relief. Make sure you take it really steady at home, even if you feel you’re superwoman! I got my results 3 weeks to the day, and was given a 1A with one focal point, so dont need any further planned treatment. I hope & pray you get the same. Lots of love, Emm xx
