Hi I noticed you haven't had a reply to your post yet. Although I already had M.E. and Fibromyalgia before my surgery so fatigue and digestive problems were already present, I definitely noticed that I was more fatigued than would be normal for me, and definitely more bloated and uncomfortable for quite a while. It is now nearly 3 years from my surgery and I would say things aren't back to how they were for me before hand but aren't as bad as they got, although I think the bloating has settled down. It affects us all differently of course. I hope in time yours will settle down.
Hugs, Lesley xx
Hi there Rossanna, are you due to see your consultant at all? Or you could have a chat with your CNS? It does take time to get over major surgery but I think the mantra here is if your not feeling right get it checked out . One that I would fully support if only to put your mind at rest.
Let us know how you get on, take care.

Thanks for your reply, I don't expect current situation is helping but I'm sure it will improve xx
My surgery was December 2018 and I still feel fatigued but wonder if that’s due to the effects of the radiotherapy or possibly the Furosemide that I’m taking for swollen ankles. Whatever it is I’m having to adjust my life in many ways, you just get used to a new normal x
Hi! I was told by Occupational Health that they usually expect it to be around a year after treatment that people get back to normal, but it can take longer. The fatigue is normal and my oncologist said that it will just gradually go. I do not have bloating or discomfort, so I think that you should phone your consultant to check. Hopefully he can reassure you.
Thanks for reply, I'm feeling terrible today, I've been furloughed for 7 weeks went into work yesterday and am totally wrecked after one day, my body hurts. I felt fatigue even wen home. I've missedy 3 month check obviously cancelled cos of corona and also nexy one is a phone one as well
You need to talk to your boss. Mine was very good and I was able to do flexible working. I was told to go in on days that I could, stay until I was tired and then just go home. At first I managed to do mornings (sometimes a bit shorter) and occasionally I managed a bit longer. Since January I have been managing full time but am still tired at the end of the day.
Hi Everyone,
I am 7 weeks post LAVH BSO, well on the road to recovery and looking forward to going back to work next Tuesday. I had a telephone follow up with consultant last Thursday and due to have face to face 3 month review in 5 weeks time.
i am able to do more but getting floored by how tired I feel, one minute I am fine the next feels like someone has pulled my plug out and all energy is gone. I have a demanding job so have negotiated phasing back over 3 weeks and then I will take a day of annual leave every week for as long as I need to.
To add to it all an old knee injury has flared up probably from all the walking I have been doing, hey ho.
Love to all
Honey
Just be careful and take it slowly, my opp was a year ago and brachytherapy last June. I'm still getting a lot of fatigue. I went back full time last September and struggled big time with issues. I was pushing myself to hard. I have now had to cut back to 4 days a week which I still find draining as it is quite physically demanding. I get painful joints now, dragging feelings and lower back pain. Listen to your body
