Sudden Bleeding.

Has anyone had a sudden heavy bleed almost a year after a hysterectomy for Womb Cancer?

I've just had sudden bright red vaginal bleeding. No pain or urine probs.

I didn't bleed at all after my hysterectomy! Not even when I just had the surgery.

I called NHS 24 and waiting for them to ring back.

I'm guessing this isn't normal ?

Why do things always happen in the wee small hours !

Trying not to worry.

Hi KikiB I had a bleed 6 month after hysterectomy and unfortunately it was a recurrence at the vagina vault. I had no pain but a few days previously I did have discharge. I know some ladies here have had bleeds and it has been just a bleed. Try not to second guess and panic. You have done the right thing telephoning the hospital. I would follow up with telephoning your CN nurse. Take care Dawn xx

How frightening for you . You have done the right thing anyway by phoning the hospital. Please let us know what happens and I'm also praying that everything will be ok for you and you have a good outcome. Try not to worry although that's easier said than done I know and try to rest.
