Itchy nipple

Hi ladies I know this is probably an odd one but I was wondering if anyone on here has had itchy red nipples, I had my hysterectomy surgery 11 days ago and apart from all the usual niggles things seem to be moving along ok, but yesterday the nipple on my left breast became itchy and red. I'm going to ask my cns about it on Monday but wondered if any of you ladies can give me some advise.

Hi Bossette it could be something very simple like you’ve been a bit overheated at times. Or have you maybe changed your laundry powder, softener etc or used a different shower gel perhaps? But yes, do have a chat with your CNS and if it continues get checked out. Hope you’re ok x

Thanks Fairycake, you're probably right and it's something simple but ever since I had my cancer diagnosis I have become paranoid about every little ache and pain, I wasn't like that before but I suppose this experience changes us in so many ways, both good and bad. xx
