I decided to start a thread for any arts and crafts you do and want to share. I know I post in others but I just wanted to share how much its helping to calm my mind and would definitly recommend everyone having a go. You don't have to be prefect just happy with your own achievement. Its Daloni that actually gave me this idea for a thread with her wonderful things she makes. So here is our very own girls.

My latest project...

I have done the shading but I think I may add some colour maybe watercolor not totally decided yet.

  • Yeah i must say having a few issues with the watercolo mainly getting the paint too strong. Need to add abit less paint more water. But I learnt my lesson there i can see what I need to fo, dont want to run out of paint too quickly, it’s surprisingly should last a long time

My Dad has some board his going to cut for me because the board i have is abit small for the other paper i have, mainly that it goes over the carry handle and i fear putting a great big hole though.

Fairycake wow the knitted tops are lovely, how long did it take to do? . My Dad knows i am super in to my arts and crafts and we went looking for a saw I forgot the name but you can cut all sorts of shapes easily. Its an electric saw and for me i think it will be help make cutting my wood into different shapes, practice and to do some wood burning projects. I have an idea floating about if i can parhaps make enough that i could sell to raise money for the charity. At te moment that seems along way away but if i can then yes. I enjoy making them and if i can sell them then it could raise some money too.

  • Well, If this works it will be my fourth attempt!!

I'm usually to be found knitting cardigans or jumpers for my grand daughters. About two years ago my youngest daughter unwittingly set me a challenge!! She bought two pictures to be worked in cross stitch. The first challenge was to actually see the holes!! It was very fine, so I equipped myself with a magnifying glass that hung round my neck. It still took me ages to finish both of them. I thought the one I've posted might make you all feel cooler!!!
