I decided to start a thread for any arts and crafts you do and want to share. I know I post in others but I just wanted to share how much its helping to calm my mind and would definitly recommend everyone having a go. You don't have to be prefect just happy with your own achievement. Its Daloni that actually gave me this idea for a thread with her wonderful things she makes. So here is our very own girls.

My latest project...

I have done the shading but I think I may add some colour maybe watercolor not totally decided yet.

  • Dear It sounds like you are going through a very difficult time emotionally. I’m so very sorry to hear that you’ve lost 3 good friends in recent weeks. Times like these are incredibly hard and not being able to attend their funerals makes these times even harder. Perhaps when restrictions ease their families will hold memorial services for family members and friends to pay their respects. Meanwhile, maybe you could dedicate a painting to each one in their memory and perhaps gift it to the family at some point? Your owl paintings are beautiful. Sending you a gentle hug. Take care and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. x

I love the owls g bear. The detailing is fantastic especially on the feathers....they look so soft you could reach out and feel the silliness of them. You are so talented. I too am Sorry to hear that you are having such a rotten time at the moment. One death is enough to deal with in these strange times let alone three and I do hope the families will do something as a memorial in order that you may pay your respects. Be assured though that God knows our feelings and can convey those in heaven and is ever present to comfort and strengthen you so just rest in His arms and let Him take your pain and worry. That's a brilliant Fairycake idea of dedicating a painting to the family. It would help you I think and give the family a source of comfort when they look at it as to how much their dearest meant to you. In the meantime sweetheart you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you feel better soon and rejoin us in the community when you are ready. Love and hugs, God bless. Lamb.xx

Gbear what a brilliant piece of art. The wolves are so realistic and you can feel them watching and waiting I know you said you produce your best pieces when you were going through difficult times which I hope are a little easier now. ..You are still in my thoughts and prayers . What a lovely memory for your friend.I would be proud to display that picture and it would bring great comfort to me every time I looked at it. The emotion shines through! God bless you gbear...You are one very talented lady. Love and hugz. Lamb.xx

  • Gbear, That's so good.  I really think you are getting better and better with your techniques.   xxxxx

  • Hi ,  I just wanted to say how much I love your painting of the wolves.  They are so strong and watchful.  I remember hearing Gordon Buchanan, the wildlife photographer, saying how wolves were one of his favourite animals after he spent several months alone observing them.   The painting is a lovely tribute to the friend you recently lost.

I hope life is going a little better for you at the moment.

    xx

  • Dear   what a wonderful picture! It’s a very fitting tribute to your friend Wolfie. I think this is probably the best picture you’ve shared with us here. Well done! Remembering you in my thoughts and prayers and sending you a gentle Fairycake hug xx
