I decided to start a thread for any arts and crafts you do and want to share. I know I post in others but I just wanted to share how much its helping to calm my mind and would definitly recommend everyone having a go. You don't have to be prefect just happy with your own achievement. Its Daloni that actually gave me this idea for a thread with her wonderful things she makes. So here is our very own girls.
My latest project...
I have done the shading but I think I may add some colour maybe watercolor not totally decided yet.
ok I realise this is very much a work in progress. actually its one of my favourite birds and a practice for something else I am wanting to do. but wanted to show that you can use pastels to draw and give great colour definition. which maybe good for though who cant use paint for various reasons.
EDIT I meant to say you can use pastel pencils or ordinary soft pastels in the drawing I have done. I used pencil simply because I had problems holding and putting the right amount of pressure on the ordinary pastels and also a good tip for anyone that if you need to do fine details then pencil maybe better or you can use the edge of your soft pastels.

OK my first attempt at a phoenix, pastel pencils again. I wanted a practice for another project I am wanting to do. My counsellor made me giggle today, she said I am starting to look like a proper artist. I am like why? Because you have a number of projects on the go.
