Is anyone else suffering from Haemochromatosis? I did have venesection to control the iron overload but haven't been for months now.The endometrial cancer and treatment has taken over my life. I know both can kill me but can't face the venesection and no one has contacted me at all about not going.Ive told my oncologist I have it but no one is taking me up on it or advising me.

How is everyone else dealing with this along with cancer treatment?

So I had interesting conversation with my Aunt only yesterday, She has Haemochromatosis, but not cancer, and has regular venesections. She has new neighbours in her sheltered accommodation, and found out one of them has Haemochromatosis like her, but also has cancer and is having chemo. She said as result of having chemo she hasn’t had to have the venesections. So there may be some logic behind all of this for you, but wouldn’t it help if they told you?
