Hi ladies.
Just had the nurse phone with my results...still grade 1 and stage 2 (as had spread to top of cervix). This is what they thought and pathology confirmed no spread to the lymph nodes!! I have only just stopped crying with relief, as I know it could have been so much worse. I will see the oncologist in a couple of weeks to discuss radiotherapy. Probably external and internal, but I will deal with that when it comes.
Thank all for your support and prayers.
Love Heather x
Hi
i am so pleased for you. Congratulations seems such an inappropriate word to use at this time but it’s all I can think of using.
Take care of yourself. Xxx
Thank you! Not sure what to expect from the radiotherapy but it will be a quick learning curve I expect!! It seems people react differently, so will have to wait and see. X
That’s wonderful news -I’m so, so pleased for you.
I hope you’re gradually feeling much better after your surgery too.
Thinking of you and sending love
Pippa xx
Hi Pippa
Thank you...it is 2 weeks today since my op, and I'm doing really well now. Had a catheter in since discharge but I had it out yesterday and feeling so much better. I have let myself get into such a state it's taking me a while to calm down! Another evening walk later will help! X
Hi Hted. Heather that's great news so pleased for you! Strange the way we weep buckets at every step along the way isn't it, fright, fear, relief! Radiotherapy shouldn't be a problem! Any questions come back and ask - I had brachytherapy which is a little undignified to say the least.
I'll raise a glass to you of something cold!
Hugs, Barb xx

Hi Heather,
what a day! So pleased for you , you can actually feel your smile through your message! I’m sure your next step will be taken with as much gusto as these past few weeks, enjoy that evening walk- you’ve well and truly deserved it, and carry on smiling! love Emm xx
Hi Barb,
I think I will possibly have internal and external, so may well be back with questions! I'm just relaxing now and letting things sink in. My hospital is a 45 minute drive away, so one of my sons and a dear friend have offered to drive me some days to give my husband a break! I sort of feel better about having some treatment just to make sure nothing is lurking 8n there! Take care and thank you! X
