Hi everyone
i am new to this site I have had vulval cancer grade 3 for the last 3 and half years. Was treated initially with chemo radiotherapy good result however moved into pre sacral space I had fiurther course of chemo 18 months ago and scans have been thankfully stable since. My current problem started over 1 week ago was woke up with freezing cold hands and feet and cramp in both feet. I also get cramp in hands. Has anyone else had a similar problem would appreciate any advice. Thank you
Hi Cold feet,
welcome to the group. I haven’t had chemotherapy but I have heard of peripheral neuropathy which can be a side effect from the chemo. Have a look on this site to see if the symptoms match yours. I’m sure this site will have some helpful advice but you should also talk to your oncologist or your clinical nurse specialist they can help you too.

Hi Jane45Xx
thank you so much for your very warm welcome it is very much appreciated. I have thought it might be neuropathy my sister in law got it about five years post chemo. !
I am under the care of the community McMillan team and the doctor is aware of my current symptoms. She has organised a blood profile test to be carried out and then I’m for review after these so they are on top of this just eliminating process at the moment. It isn’t quite as bad as it was last week. But is still everyday. I will prob go on amazon and order some foot warmers and woolly socks. I hope you are ok and thank you once again. Xxx
