VIN3

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I too have VIN3 and had a WLE last year.  Please don't be afraid.  There are far more of us out here with the same condition. My Surgery was completed in May last year and 3 weeks later under Drs advice I took myself to Benidorm and had a great holiday.  

Yes there are protocols to follow, hygiene is the most important, so follow all advice given. 

You will get through this. Life goes on, trust me.

Understand how worried you must be, I was diagnosed last year with VIN3 and like you was terrified as had never heard of it. I had the WLE done as a day patient. Went home very sore but with pain killers.  Can recommend you get a peri bottle which helps you keep clean and is very soothing with warm water. also sterile wipes and a donut cushion.all available on amazon. I tried to keep active as much as i could but also plenty of rest everyday. it improved quickly and was driving within a week using my donut cushion.  Best wishes

Hello, yes I agree about using a peri bottle, I still use mine 2 years post operation.  Also use cotton cloths, moisten with warm water and wipe after using toilet paper, you just dispose in the bin.  They are soft for patting dry too.
