my daughter was diagnosed with vulva cancer. After many doctor appointments and getting different diagnosis she found a doctor that sent her to a oncology on gyn. Biopsy came back SCC. Her doctor said may need a lymph node biopsy. We don't know just what to do as her doctor is on vacation. She needs to heal first.. Any insight would be appreciated.
Hello, so sorry to hear of your daughter’s diagnosis. I should contact your surgery and ask for advice as you shouldn’t be left in limbo. Please keep in touch.
Like Lizzy58 mentioned, I had a scan on the day of my operation, in which they looked at my lymph nodes and hence they removed two lymph nodes.
I had some removed ( don't know how many), they were taken away and checked, came back clear
