I finally had my follow up appointment. So far it's looking like I'm clear. They are not too concerned over the white patches I have on my vulva.
I will be having check up every 6mths.
I was told the tingling sensation Im experiencing is normal and should have that for a while yet. I really do hope not for too long , its a constant horrible reminder.
However I had a tiny biopsy taken from my bottom area, which also showed AIN3 cells. I'm waiting to here from Preston about that, I've asked my nurse to chase it up for me as I would like to know asp. This has been going on for 3mths , I would like to know about my process of care in order to relief my anxiety.
Hi Blondi
That's good news that your follow up has been positive and you are now going to 6 monthly check ups.
Am sorry to hear that you needed a biopsy from your bottom and it has shown some AIN3 cells. It is understandable that you want to have this dealt with as soon as possible. This link has some information that may help while you are waiting.

Why not give the Support Line a call and have a chat about it to one of the nurses. They are there from 8am-8pm daily. They would be able to explain what may happen next.
Good Luck
Jane
Hi Blondi,
I just joined this forum as I'm waiting for biopsies to be taken for suspected VIN, but saw your comment about the AIN3 biopsy.
I have had 2 examinations under anaesthetic in the last 12 months where I have had AIN3 removed under general anaesthetic. I've been treated in outpatient day surgery, and recovery has been OK. I have found AIN easier to deal with than CIN or my current suspected VIN, because I have found that having the general anaesthetic and not being aware of the removal process means I don't have to think/ focus on it too much. Whereas with my VIN biopsies coming up I am finding that my mind is already in the room/chair if that makes sense, and is stressing me out.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I've been there too, as I've never met anyone else who has (or at least has felt comfortable talking about it) xx
