Vulvar cancer nearly diagnosed

I think it will depend on what the scan says. I had a scan last Monday and met with Dr the Thursday after, if that helps!

Unfortunately I can’t help with the time frame between the scan and surgery as my experience was difference. I had surgery for VIN 3 and then found out it contained an area of cancer and had my scan afterwards. I think a lot will depend on the hospital wait times, so I wonder if your specialist nurse could answer your question (if you have one).

Thank you for advice ,got scan on monday then meeting with hospital  for results on Wednesday.

What kind of surgery did you have for your vin 3 did you do try anything before the surgery

Hi ,

I had a wide local excision. I didn’t try anything prior to surgery, I had an itch for years that I treated with steroid ointment, however once I had a biopsy and it revealed VIN3 I was advised that surgery was the best option in my case xx
