Hi, bit long winded just wanted some advice on VIN I found a small ulcer type thing September last year and went to sexual health they didn’t know what it was took swabs nothing came back they also spotted a grey whiteish area and sent me to see there consultant who was great said he thought VIN and did a punch biopsy and took photos before hand, came back VIN 3 and referred me to gynae, I got first appointment and spoke to the junior doctor who then asked me to go on the examination trolley and when one of the consultants free they will pop in and take a look, she she where was the biopsy from and I pointed to a sore area by perineum that I later discovered was a little cut or fissure (I’m not a doctor and can’t see well in that area) she said all is fine and got emollient to wash with went back few months later for next appt and said I was worried and confused she said which parts I said the grey area and she said fine again. All by her eye not tests scopes or anything, I said I was itchy and she said if still there next time she’d give me cream for VIN to try, well next appt I had another doctor who just looked again said fine away I went by this time I was so worried I went back to sexual health consultant who confirmed it was the grey area he biopsied and sent gynae an email and the photo from first appt was asked to come in 2 weeks later and gynae would remove the area, but was fine before, I have noticed she has left some behind and still not heard from them 4 weeks now I phoned my gp to look on computer and looked like still VIN. Today I found an area similar in the crack of my bottom and I think it could be AIN, who to I see for that? Why am I not getting treatment or tests can the tell by eye? Every appt in gynae is rushed even the removal appt I was asked to come off trolley and get dressed and meet her in another room as someone needed the room, I get that they are busy and see serious cancer cases but don’t they check with scopes or something
