I had vin3 surgery in July 25. Im still experiencing tingling sensation, vulva is red, I have burning sensation when I wee!! Could it possibly be a reacurance happening or something else?
I have my 1st check up next Wednesday, but looking for advice, as im thinking of contacting the cancer nurse .
Hi Blondi the length of time to recover from Vin3 surgery will vary depending on how complex the surgery was. Is this burning sensation new? I wonder if you could have a water infection ? It is obviously painful and bothering you, so I wouldn’t wait until next week, give your nurse a call, they are extremely helpful and if she thinks it is necessary to get you in sooner she will.
Ive contacted hospital today, been up.they have given me some antibiotics, and took a swab. Hopefully its only a water infection, have to wait on swab results.
