Hi Ladies,
Been a while since i last posted, saw doctor at hospital the wide local excision on 16/1 came back 2 Weeks after the surgery just as big & her comments was “ I’ve Never seen VIN3 so aggressive “ Saw her again on Thursday who said its spread from the Labia to the over the Vagina itself. She said she will try diathermy again & take Biopsies again from both area’s now.
Has anybody had VIN actually on the Vagina, can these Cells actually go inside You ? The Itching i get from inside the Vagina is Horrible & you cant really Rub this area.
Just had Surgery 2 Weeks ago for Arthroscopy of Shoulder & a Torn Rotary Cuff.
Lol

Hi Paula,
I had vaginal cancer(stage1) in 2014 that causes HPV. I kept having VAIN 3 (pre cancer cells on my vaginal cuff) for a few years before turning cancer. I did not feel anything like itchy or pain, because it was a little deeper. I felt nothing even after laser surgeries. You mentioned that you feel itchy inside of vagina. I guess it would be enter of vagina which close to vulva. Yes, those VIN could spread in to your vagina. I had laser surgery(VIN2/3) around enter of vagina back in Feb. It has been still feeling sore and strange, it feels like really tight and dryness is getting more severe.
I do not know what your VIN causes, but my case is from HPV and started cervix first, then I had hysterectomy because of pre cancer cells never went away. Then it spread into my vagina, I had chemo and radiation therapy. Then after less than two years, started having VIN3 on my vulva. Mines are also still aggressive they come back in 3 months or so and having surgery every couple of months.
Best wishes,
Kuma
Mine spreads aggressively too and I hate to say it but I got used to it. I have had cancer inside but mostly those times were from tumors, the vin spots would be more of a pea sized or pinky nail sized ball that actually had like 'fingers' that worked their way up and over. Hopefully you won't have too long to wait for biopsies.
Take care, Lisa

Thanks for that, they had to cancel my Op but re-scheduled it in 2 Weeks time on Wednesday 3rd July. The Dr said she wouldn’t do another Wide Local Incision as the more they take away the tighter & discomfort would Not be nice. I know you & others here have had many many Operations. What a lovely birthday i will have as on the 4th July i will be 50 omg! Lol
Hope your ok Lisa, you girls on here are a Blessing in many ways.
