Hi all. I had wide excision in October of last year. Due for appointment with consultant on 13th May. But l am experiencing like a dull ache in my right hip and groin area for the past 3-4 weeks. This is the side that l had the surgery. No lymph nodes were involved in my surgery. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am beginning to think that this part of my body is all l have on my mind from the moment I wake until l go to bed!!.
I had a radical left vulvatomy plus sentinel nodes removed in January 2018 then in the April lymph nodes removed & in the June in hospital again because of a abscess near the site of the surgery
I have pain in the groin plus hip I did see my GP she said that it was where the scaring is & it could take a year or so to stretch to ease
I am not too sure I will have a cancer check up in June so see what they say
I also have bouts of being very itchy down below but it can stop just have to see what they say
I would advise that you see your GP & see what they say I have learnt regardless of what they think get things checked out
All The Best
