Hi everyone. This is all new to me. Diagnosed last week with triple negative BC stage 3. Absolutely terrified but so glad to find this forum. My chemo is starting next Friday. Mind going completely crazy and just in panic mode trying to get support in place as I'm single mum to 2 boys, one with autism. I know it's one day at a time. Is anyone else feeling like there is so much happening literally every hour you just can't take any more on board? I mean appointments, support rotas, phone calls, not to mention all the herbal supplements and items arriving as been panic buying anything that might help! Think I need to take a chill pill haha.

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.  Plenty us feel that our minds are going crazy at times as it's not very nice to get a breast cancer diagnosis.  Also at the beginning of a cancer diagnosis you have so many appointments for this that and the other that it can feel like a whirlwind sometimes.

Make sure that you check with your oncologist that it's ok to take the herbal supplements that you have bought as these can interfere with whatever chemo drugs you will be receiving.  I also suggest that you join the breast cancer forum and that's a much busier forum than this one and there are plenty of ladies who have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.

I was diagnosed with triple negative BC over two years ago and after treatment I made a full recovery.

Wishing you the best of luck with chemo.

    Best wishes

Thank you so much for replying. That’s such great news that you have made a full recovery from TNBC, thank you for sharing. I will absolutely be sensible with the supplements and check with the oncologist that’s really good advice thanks. There is so much conflicting info on the internet about complimentary therapies etc I know the oncologist advice is the most important.

I will check out the breast cancer forum too.
    best wishes
