Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with TNBC I am having paclitaxel weekly and Ec + pembrolizumab every 3 weeks.
I seem to be struggling with a really low immune system even though I am having the injections as well, and now in my second cycle have had to delay treatment for a week.
Anyone else experienced this ??
Thank you for your reply, that makes me feel better. Xx
Yes you’re not alone. TNBC seems to be getting diagonised more and more.
I was 35 when I was diagnoised in May last year. I’m hopefully coming to the end and if I can bear it - anyone can.!
I will say though - everyone’s journey is diff but sometimes similarities can occur.
im on chemo tablets and my immune system is getting battered but not like IV chemo xx
Hi, I too was diagnosed with TNBC last year having the same chemotherapy. I missed at least 2 of my treatments when my levels had gone too low aswell
Thank you that’s good to know, only being 2 cycles in you worry about delays, but seems to be quite a common thing.
Yes, I worried when I missed the first one. The nurses said it does happen some of the time and not to worry, they just want to make sure you build your levels back up for the next week first. Wishing everything goes well with the rest of your treatment
