I was also anxious when I was told that my lumpectomy would t be until May. They assured me that nothing will grow that fast in the mean time. I haven’t yet had my PR results back but I do know I am ER and HER2 negative. Waiting for genetic testing too. I hope you are feeling better soon 

Welcome to the group from this fellow TNBCer. Waiting is always tough whether it’s waiting for treatment to start or waiting for results. Hope you get a date for your chemo soon. Do you know what treatment you are having?

Paclitaxel first, then Epirubicin along with Cyclophosphamide and Pembrolizumab. I haven’t got the schedule yet but I know it is chemo and immune therapy. I believe the immune therapy was trialled in 2017 so is relatively new.

I think you will have the Pembrolizumab with the Paclitaxel. Hope it goes well for you.

I too have had the dreaded diagnosis triple neg I’m terrified , not had treatment plan yet .

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. It’s perfectly understandable that you are feeling scared right now. However know that triple negative is treatable and that once you have your treatment plan thawing should start to look better for you.

I was diagnosed with triple negative in September 2020 in the height of the pandemic and after having chemo, surgery and radiotherapy I am now cancer free.

Aww thanks Daisy that’s good to know , and fab news you’re cancer free . I have been contacted today to say surgery first for me as my lump is small !!
