Hi it’s Kaye just wondered if anyone had to have 2 week break in middle of chemo. I’ve had 6 weeks of carbo/Paclitaxel but have kidney problem and having two week off from weekly chemo for kidney operation and then back to it for 6 or 12 weeks. Onc says it’s not a problem but as I won’t be getting the chemo it won’t be killing cells so worried it’ll give cells opportunity to grow. But unavoidable. Has anyone had similar break and info on consequences? I’ve had FEC and EC before 3 weekly for 6 cycles but never taken a break inbetween.
