I have just been diagnosed with Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. With 5 cm breast cancer tumour (being the largest), and has spread to armpit with a 5 cm lymph node cancer tumour. What is the minimal survival rate to the maximum survival rate in year

Hi  and welcome to the site that you would probably not want to be on,  but here (and the busier breast cancer forum) are a great source of support,  and a place to have a chat or a rant. 

Not even your medical team will really know everything yet,  unless you've already had the surgery and the pathology results,  as they find out the actual details then rather than what they can see on scans and biopsies.  

Was it multifocal (more than one tumour) if 5cm was thr largest? Did they see it in one or more nodes? The information from initial testing is used to plan out treatment,   and as you are triple negative the main treatment is chemotherapy and possibly radiotherapy as well as the surgery.  

You should have been allocated a Macmillan nurse,  who you can contact with queries in between appointments. Is a lot to take in st first when you are in shock,  so it's possible that you've forgotten some of the things said - I know I did. She can clarify those,  but can't tell you anything not discussed with you and the surgeon or oncologist yet. Is a really stressful time,  and you might find that your sleep is affected. On the main Breast Cancer forum there is an 'Awake' thread. Lots of women south TNBC are very active there,  so you might get more replies too. X
