I would like to know if anyone else is on this combination treatment ( I haven't had surgery) and what for and for how long? I'm not sure why and what my treatment is meant to be doing?
Hi cupboardlove
Having had a different type of cancer I don't have any experience with pablociclib and letrozole I'm afraid but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.
If you click on the links I've created it will take you to Macmillan's information on these drugs which might help you understand why the drugs have been suggested to you. Have you spoken to your BCNS about why you're going to receive this treatment as it's important that you feel fully informed before starting treatment?
It might be an idea to also post this question in the breast cancer group, which I can see you've joined, as it's a more active group than this one so you might find others on this treatment over there.

Hi cupboardlove
I’m surprised that your oncologist hasn’t explained why they put you on that combination and for how long you were going to be on it. I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer last September and had 8 cycles of chemo followed by surgery. I would contact either your breast care nurse or your oncology liaison nurse to find out what the story is.
Wishing you the best of luck with your treatments.
Best wishes
Daisy
