  • Hello Rob (

I am Brian one of the Community Champions here on the online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and I hope seen and answered by other members of the thyroid cancer group.

I did search the community for "Selpacatnib" and the only mention I could find was your original post of a couple of weeks ago which had one answer. That's not to say someone who has never posted may be able to answer your question.

I wish you well with your treatment.

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • Hi there,

I responded to you on the cancer chat forum.

I am on selpercatinib for MTC - have been on it since mid January 2025 so nearly a year now.  I do not think there are many MTC patients in the UK on this drug.

I was on cabozantinib for 19 months beforehand, and for me selpercatinib is far better as regards side effects, and does seem to be having an impact from the scans and ny calcitonin measurements.  So it has a thumbs up from me!
