Hi worried about what happens if cancer has spread to windpipe and best treatment options. Not aplastic
Hi, my surgeon said he had to scrape the tumour off my windpipe, all sounded very scary, I had opted for a partial but because of where the tumour was I have had to have the second half removed, just waiting to have my RAI. I don't know if this helps at all, have they managed to remove your tumour?
Sending best wishes, Vicky
Thanks for reply. My mum has been diagnosed and there seems to be different options including tracheostomy which she really doesnt want. She is having another CT scan today to assess way forward.
Wishing you all the best going forward. Mum is 87 and just want the best for her.
