Im new to this. Have stage 4 Poorly Differentiated Thyroid with bone and brain mets (brain and skull net removed successfully. Due for radioiodibe therapy in 10 days.
is anyone currently on a low iodine diet(LID)? Does anyone here have poorly differentiated thyroid cancer (PDTC)? Does anyone know if you can drink elderberry and echinacea tea on LID and can you use celery seed to flavour things? Any info much appreciated.
Hi, I will be embarking on a low iodine diet in a few weeks, if you scroll back through a few pages of discussions there are some about the diet, it is all a bit confusing, hope you find some answers sounds like you have been through a lot, hope it goes well and that's the last treatment for you, kind regards, Vicky
Thank you for the link. The question I have is if it’s ok to eat celery seed, drink elderberry and echinacea tea and to eat dried apricots. Not mentioned in the info I was given. Will have a look on your info but think E already seen it…thanks, though.
