Hi everyone , I am new to the group .
my story is as follows , I have had a largish goiter for 4+ years , during this time my health had taken a but of a beating . I now feel constantly tired , I have a sore throat most of the time , I loose my voice For weeks on end then it comes back but the more I talk it gets worse throughout the day . I have earache , my neck glands are swollen and tender as it behind my ears and even the glands under my arms get really tender for a few days at a time then are fine. I get strange issues with facial paralysis, eye twitching and speech problems ( I know I sound like a hypochondriac). Prior to 4years ago I was in good health and rarely even got a cold !
Anyway at last a saw a new doctor 3 weeks ago and he said he was referring me to ENT , then I received a text to say because we suspect cancer you will have an ultrasound first and then an endoscopy . This has left me really worrying as I never considered cancer . I had the ultrasound yesterday and am constantly thinking through things .
Can anyone else relate to my long and strange symptom list ?
