Hi
I'm being treated for stomach cancer with cisplatin and capecitabine. Ive been coping okay so far, good days and bad days but after finishing my third cycle of chemo, during my resting week, I had sudden onset of very painful soles of my feet to the point where I couldn't walk for a few days. It was dreadful. I was wondering if anyone else has suffered this side effect. I'm able to walk now but still feel like I have a stones in my shoes which is making me limp quite badly. I'm scared about how long this will last.
I hope I've posted this in the right place. Just getting used to navigating the site.
Any replies or help will be much appreciated
Sorry to hear about the pain and discomfort on the soles of your feet. I think it’s quite a common side effect of the chemo drugs you are on. Hand - foot syndrome

I think the CSN can offer some treatment.
Hope it gets better soon!
