Had endoscopy and CT scan, and have been told that I have 2 GIST
I now have to have an EUS and more biopsies, to determine my treatment plan..I go tomorrow.
Just really asking for any information, from people already on any treatment ?
I am really sorry to hear about your diagnosis but you will find lots of support and positive experiences on this group. I had stomach cancer five years ago and had chemo and a partial gastrectomy. I now lead a normal life, eating and drinking much as before.
It is very hard coming to terms with a diagnosis of cancer and this will be a difficult time as you don’t know what you are dealing with! Once you have a treatment plan, it will get easier.
Do post questions and let us know how you are doing!
Good luck!
Jac
