Sorry to read your news. Getting your head round that a loved one has cancer is hard enough but to lose them so quickly after diagnosis and due to an infection through their piccline! You must be going through every emotion linked to grief and I’m sending virtual hugs and praying that you are given the strength to come through this. You really must get in touch with the bereavement councillors.

I’m so sorry to hear about your dad, it sounds like you have been through a few traumatic months. Nobody should have to deal with the loss of a parent so young, I hope that you and your family can find some comfort in each other. Please consider some of the suggestions made by the group or an alternative councillor as sometimes it’s easier to express our feelings to people who we aren’t particularly close to.
