I’m due to have an endoscopy on Sunday I’m finding it all hard to handle. I have been getting lots of symptoms, localised pain as well as pain underneath my ribs, burping, reflux the list goes on. First it was thought l had angina but that’s ruled out by cardiologist. I’m taking Omeprazole for symptoms of reflux. I have lost weight and struggle to eat. I have now found a painful pea sized nodule in my stomach so assuming it’s a lymph node. Any advice or information will be good thanks. I’m 70 years of age and have a few autoimmune diseases including autoimmune liver disease which is under control
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I don't have any experience of having an endoscopy but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Replying to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussions list where it'll hopefully be seen by someone who does.
While you're waiting for replies if you type 'endoscopy' into the group's search bar you can have a look through previous posts on this topic and reply to any of the more recent posters if you think they can help you further.
You could also have a look at this information from Macmillan about an endoscopy.
I hope you don't have to wait too much longer to find out what's causing your symptoms and do come back and let us know how you get on.
x
