Hi looks like I’m going to be having radiotherapy treatments next week but anxious about this anyone else here had this experience of this treatment does this actually do any good
It’s good to hear that there’s a treatment plan in place for you. I don’t have experience of radiotherapy but I understand it is used as a treatment for stomach cancer. You could seek a second opinion, others in this group have done this and it can give you other options or at least confirm that this is the best treatment for you.
It’s very hard emotionally to deal with a cancer diagnosis and it is a bit of a rollercoaster with times you feel positive and other times you experience real lows.
Macmillan helpline or Maggie’s Centres can provide fantastic advice and support to you and your family.
Good luck with your treatment this week!
Jac
