My hubby is about to start Trebectedin on Fri. Previously he has had 4x Doxorubicin which did nothing for the mets sites that keep popping up. 4x RT that don't appear to be doing much either. The sarcoma started in his foot which was partially amputated in Oct 18.
Has anyone had this chemo and how did they find it?

Hi BootsyD
I haven't had this chemo but noticed that no one from this group had responded to you yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the page where it'll be more easily seen.
While you're waiting to see if you get a response your could type 'trabectedin' into the search bar in this group and you'll see a few posts which mention it. Unfortunately most are quite old so I don't know if the posters are still active in this group. However, you could have a read of what they've said about the drug and respond to any where you think they might be able to tell you more.
I'm also tagging this group's Community Champion src60 as he may be aware of people who are having this treatment.
All the best for your husband tomorrow.

Colin was quite ill after his 1st round of trebectedin and spent a lot of time in hospital- 8 days then another 3. The oncologist at Middlesbrough has said there is nothing else to be done for him, no more chemo, rt, or any trials for his sarcoma and he isn't fit or well enough for trials. Shitshitshit!!!
