Hi
My husband goes in to have his sarcoma lump on top of his inside leg in 19 Nov 2025, can anyone help me how long recovery could be? They have to remove a muscle in the top of his leg too, so I am guessing that along with radiotherapy after op there will be a lot of physio too. Has anyone any knowledge about this please?
Hi,
Your husband’s case sounds quite similar to my husband’s. He had a sarcoma lump removed from the top of his inner leg in 2022, and thankfully all is well now. Although I can’t offer any medical knowledge, I can offer emotional support. That time was very scary for us, but I wanted to share that it was never as bad as we’d prepared ourselves for. The doctors are incredible at what they do.
Wishing you and your husband all the very best for the surgery. I hope everything goes smoothly. Happy to chat anytime you need.
Rachelle
Thank you. I am really trying to gage the radiotherapy and physio timescales because once he has completed all of that they then have deal with another sarcoma they have found in his stomach

Hi Karen,
I completely understand you wanting to get a sense of the timescales. I wish I could be more helpful with that side of things. Hopefully someone else on here might have a clearer idea of how long thing may take. Wishing you both all the best as you go through this.
