Hi everyone :-) Posting on behalf of my hubby, who’s 2 weeks post-op for forehead flap surgery, but part of the flap appears to have ‘died’ & I wondered if anyone else has experienced this, as it’s quite rare, apparently. He had MOHs surgery for infiltrative BCC on his nostril & it took 3 x passes as it was a very extensive tumour. The forehead flap surgery was the following day, using cartilage from his ear to help rebuild. He had his follow-up appointment this week & the surgeon said what we’d thought was just very dark scabbing on the edge of the flap was most likely dead tissue 
He’s scheduled to have the separation op in 3 weeks but we now have a massive fear of more tissue dying & the op failing completely :-(
