Post op after having BCC removed

I had a bcc removed from the centre of my forehead with MOHS yesterday. Because of the positioning of the wound, both my eyebrows are considerably raised in the centre looking very odd. My little boy asked why do I look so worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know if my eyebrows will return to their original position?

Thanks everyone

  • Hi

I haven't had a BCC removed from the area you have but you cannot see the scar now.

I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet so responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

  • Hi there... I had a basal cell removed from side of my nose nearly three years ago and the nostril on the side was misshapen for a while,  but over time it's straightened out... it's still slightly different but not really noticeable. I know it's not the same as you but thought it might help to understand that it may  take time to settle down as healing progresses...  at the moment its very early days so it will be inflamed

  • Thank you puckettyboo that’s really helpful. My facial expression is very different so I’m just hoping over time it will right itself. I’m due back to work in a few weeks and reallly nervous.
