Hi VickiJean welcome to the forum. Im no expert at all re this but as I understand this type of treatment it focuses on the specific area of cancer and preserves the healthy tissue and skin. Like most of these treatments the skin could potentially become red, sore and need moisturising but I'm sure the unit where you are having this will explain all this for you. I'm also sure that some of the lovely folks in the forum will be along soon to to offer up further help and information for you. Best wishes for now.
